02/05/04 - Yes, I'm aware that updates have been few and far between but I hate this website and am currently looking to have a better one designed.

 

Lots of news: (506) sales have been good.  It's been mentioned in The Telegraph Journal as well as the Mascarete in Moncton.

 

Los Pantaloonos has broken up, Like a Nun out Of Water will no longer be released.  If you're in a band that doesn't suck and want to put your next album out on Chickenface Records MAIL ME!  Do NOT email me asking me to listen to your mp3's, don't email me telling me your band is awsome.  Send me a demo with a bio. The mailing address is in the "Contact" section

 

I doubt there will be any more updates to this site until I get a new one.

12/20/03 - Bands on compilation have been added to links page.  The Wiggly Tysons are now recording on Monday due to the illness of their producer.

 

12/19/03 - Lots and lots and lots of updates today!  (506) is NOW AVAILABLE!!! So get a copy now.  I can mail one for 12 dollars or get one in person for $10.  Check the store section for details.

 

The Wiggly Tysons are going into the studio tomorrow to record their debut full length.  A title will be announced soon.  It should be out sometime in the new year.  There have been a bunch of Wiggly Tysons fan sites popping up.  The band should have an official site sometime soon.

 

Los Pantaloonos are almost done their new CD.

 

Hopefully this site will soon be gone.  I'm looking into having a new one perfessionaly designed and will hopefully have a dotcom.

11/16/03 - The compilation has been shipped out.  It should be done in time for Alexisonfire

 

11/5/03 - The compilation is (finally) completly done and ready to be shipped out to be pressed.  Man I'm cool, I can't get over how cool I am.  Get ready for preorders!

 

On another note I was talking to the totally awsome Hardcore band STRENGTH FOR TODAY and they're interested in doing a CD with Chickenface.  Details will be made available as they become available.

 

09/11/03 - I have finally received all the letters for the compilation.  I should be sending it out to be pressed very soon.  I hope to have it done for the Sussex Alexisonfire show.

 

There may not be a Wiggly Tysons CD.  If there is it won't be out until after Christmas.  If they don't do it I'll be looking for another band to put out a CD for sometime this year.

 

08/10/03 - Thanks to Dan Jones' horrible drinking problem the old logo has died and will never return.  The funeral will be next week.

 

This site might be getting a major face lift within the next couple weeks. Remember: "might"

 

08/04/03 - LOTS of updates.   Unsociable will now be on the compilation.  The official list is up on the comp. page.  Should go out to press this month (hopefully).  More updates to come.

 

07/31/03 - Los Pantaloonos page is up.  I'll add pictures and the such as soon as I get them.

 

07/25/03 - Hot damn it's been a long time since I updated this site.  I'm adding some more shows to the SRP site (it will also be getting it's own domain name soon).  I'm still waiting for Jai to give me a bio but it will be soon (if not I'll write one myself).  I'll update the other pages next week so keep watching for that. 

 

Some very good news, I'm talking to Ron right now and it appears that Los Pantaloonos will be releasing their next album on Chickenface!  Recording will begin this fall.

 

Melanarchy has officially broken up so there will be no CDR EP from them (or anything for that matter).

 

The compilation is being delayed AGAIN.  Any bands on the compilation need release forms so I'm just waiting for those to come in.  I have absolutly no idea when the release date will be now.

06/26/03 - The list of (506) bands is now up.  Go to the page on the left.  The list is subject to change. 

 

Apparently we have been TRICKED by a fake poster on the GC fourm!  Melanarchy is still a band minus one guitarist.  What horrible rumour will the GC fourm throw at us next week?

 

06/24/03 - Ron Smith has left Melanarchy.  Apparently, according to Giraffecycle, the band has broken up (and right after I agree to do a CDR release).  The stiff Rock Productions page is going to get some major updates and I might make it seperate from the Chickenface Records page.  If you want to review past shows please email them to me.  I'm going to talk to Jai and I might give free passes to shows if you review them.

 

06/19/03 - Chickenface Records shirts are now available.  Give me a plain shirt that is any colour but black and I'll do it for free.  If I have to supply the shirt it will cost 5 dollars.

 

06/17/03 - I'll be adding more things over the next few days and up dating pages.  Keep watching.

 

06/12/03 - You can now access the site through cjb.net.  The new address is chickenfacerecords.cjb.net.  Tell your friends. Links on the left have been updated.  Stiff Rock Productions page created (in navigation bar). The site should be done after next week so keep checking back.

 

06/11/03 - New pages added.  HEiMLiCH are going to be on the compilation now.  Horray.

 

06/10/03 - I never thought I'd have a website but here it is (even though it's not very good)  There are still parts missing but I'll be adding them later.  If you see any spelling mistakes tell me because I know there are many.

 

The compilaton is still in the works.  Ron Smith and Nicole Veysey taking care of the artwork.  I still have some things to design for DBS to make.

 

I'm pretty much done taking submissions but if you have something you want on please email me (chickenfacerecords@yahoo.ca) and I might be able to do something.
